Cinéroutes Car Rental was born in 2006, more out of a love for human contact than as a business. We were one of the pioneers of self-drive in Madagascar, with our iconic Renault 4s rented to adventurous and passionate Dutch travellers.
Since 2026, Cinéroutes Car Rental has been a local company run by women. We keep our fleet small on purpose, so that every traveller still gets personal attention and every car is well maintained.
A local company that meets you in person
Before your road trip, we take the time to go through your route, explain what driving in Madagascar is like and give you tips for the road. Then we show you around your car.
During your trip, we are there for you 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. Not only for the car: also when you need help with a hotel or your itinerary, if you fall ill, or with any other problem on the way.
